Llama Llama, Baby Mama, Nashville Baby Shower

My daughter, Tory, recently had her first baby and we're over the moon. Margaux makes our fourth grandchild and fourth granddaughter. We love girls!

Before Margaux arrived, I flew to Nashville where Tory's 2 sisters-in-law along with her lifelong best friend threw her a baby shower brunch.

The theme was Llama Lama, Baby Mama, and the these cookies were not only absolutely adorable, but they tasted scrumptious, too! They were made by Katie's mom, Laurie, who works full time, but recently launched her side business, Pretty on the Inside Cookies by Waddie. And if the cookies weren't enough, these donuts from Five Daughters Bakery in Nashville are almost world famous. Katie's dad was sent on the errand to pick these up, but not before Katie warned him NOT to look at the bill. Of course, that made him have to sneak a peak and he almost had a heart attack - not from the sugar, but from the receipt. They are worth every penny, though. Ask anyone in Nashville and they will happily endorse these donuts.
