The wood base is covered in preserved moss and sprayed to help prevent shedding. There is a sawtooth hanger on back for hanging.  Recommended for indoor use out of direct sunlight.  Moss will yellow if kept outside in direct sunlight and heat.  They are fine if used outside for a wedding for the day. With indoor use, they will remain green for many years to come.
